SSL processing tend to become sluggish because of the loss of accelerators thereby slowing down transactions. Another thing is that once it does get slow, the customer will most probably close the browser thereby moving to another website. Most web servers will be unable to handle the load at times, eliciting sensitive information not to be transmitted properly leading to breach of security. &nbsp;<br /><br />Over all though, Secure payment gateway and the challenge with SSL is minimal.
